Mega Man Star Force: Leo
I got another game in the mail, again another RPG that I threw on there for no good reason and was my fifth pick after all the games I really want to play. This one is about Mega Man. Well, kinda, it’s about some mopey kid who is possessed by a robot dog that we are meant to think is Mega Man because his name is Mega and OH NO MY NOSE IS BLEEDING.
It’s pretty disappointing; the combat system is silly, in which you pick attacks that you want to do from a random set of six, but you can still dodge as many attacks as you like and fire with your peashooter, and there is way too much talking and explaining of things that are in fact pretty basic (for example, they spend a good minute and a half explaining how menus work.) I’ve turned on it pretty quickly, and will likely return it, but it’s all about timing with these Gameflies, because it’s almost guaranteed that if the game you want to rent came out less than six months ago, it’s going to be unavailable. Which makes you wonder, who is getting these games in the first place?
