Alan Wake
I finished Alan Wake today, and I ended up liking it a lot, so much that I have been weighing whether to take the leap to get DLC for a game I don’t actually own. While the majority of the final chapter is “oh shit, Taken!” the ending is just as enigmatic and confusing as I was hoping, and plays us out with some Space Oddity. Without spoiling anything, a really cool part has the objects around you replaced with words, and you need to shine your flashlight on them to make them “real,” which is pretty cool, especially when one of the words is “thermos,” one of the collectables. But I heartily recommend this game after playing it.
