Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood
With some more time in the single player, unfortunately, not to the point where I got anywhere. There’s a main mission at the castello, but there’s also way too many guards between me and it, and I don’t feel like killing them all, so instead I screwed around and got into a lot of random fistfights with strangers. First the thieves’ guild agreed to a tussle with a rival gang, and thought to themselves, “You know what would be a totally awesome thing to do in this upcoming playful street fight between teenagers? Inviting along a 45-year-old mass murderer who almost killed the Pope!” I mean, this is cheating of the highest calibre, asking creepy uncle Ezio to help them beat the shit out of some punk kids. There was also a prostitute who had been poisoned, according to her, and instead of asking Ezio to go get her some medicine or something, she asks him to follow her around town and punch out strangers, based entirely on her word. It’s a weird mission.
Also spent way too long in some tomb trying to get a scroll of some kind. I hate these missions because they take forever, this one being a massive series of tunnels that look identical, and they give you a time limit that runs out halfway through the dungeon. You can keep going, sure, but you won’t get full credit. It’s a little sucky.
