What I Played Today: January 22

Creationary

I went to a party for a short while, came home early because I wasn’t feeling well, but before I did I played Creationary, which a wise man has said should have really been called “Bricktionary,” because come on! That would have been awesome. My team did not do well, having trouble sorting out how to build Lego sculptures that conveyed the image well enough. I had to try to build a goldfish, which looked a lot like a bird, because when you pixelate a goldfish, yeah, it’s pretty birdlike, and my attempt to make a fishbowl failed miserably. We thought we had one when we guessed banana, but as it turns out, the picture on the card was not a banana! It was a crescent moon, which makes me realize they really should have put the answer in word form on the card as well, so we didn’t waste two minutes trying to guess the wrong thing. Eventually it just boiled down to see who could build the most awesome thing…we had someone guess the Parthenon in about two minutes, so that was neat, I guess.
