Clarence’s Big Chance, Portal 2
Hey, remember that platforming game that I bitched about a month ago, about some fat asshole who was going on a date? Well, guess what game just got achievements on Kongregate! I played it a bit more, getting to the next stage (and spending a good half hour trying to find the missing secrets of the first stage), and then bored quickly. I did find that I was breezing through the levels pretty competently, which surprised me, because if there’s something I know I’m not good at, it’s picture perfect platforming.
I started over in Portal 2 to see the story again, getting through the first four chapters easily. I had not noticed before, the first four test chambers in both games are identical, with the exact same puzzles, just one being completely overgrown. It is dang convenient that you managed to stumble across these on my quest for escape. Also, the back-up end-of-the-world scenario announcer that they throw at you in the very beginning is hilarious. He just has some of the best quips.
