Dominion, Kinect FunLabs
Another new Dominion set, another adventure. Cornucopia is all about variety, with a lot of new cards that care about you having different cards in your deck. In the first game, there was a bit of give and take, but the true winner of the game is the tournament, which is a powerful card that really shines if you can ramp up to a province early. My opponent won every prize, which really bolstered his deck with some powerful actions, and I lost 60-20 after a poor attempt to catch up. The second game was a complete tie, as we both used the Harvest to great effect, and I kept getting hit with the Jester, a fun give-and-take attack, that dumped curses into my deck.
Also screwed around with the new Kinect FunLabs, which is...something. It's a weird experience, and while the technology is phenomenal, the usability is not that engaging. After you turn your shoe into a googly-eyed monster or your game box into a ninja, you just kinda nod to yourself and say, "Yep, that's magic, alright. Now can it do something useful?" But at least they are stretching their boundaries.
