What I Played Today: August 31

Rift, Quarrel, Legend of Zelda

I mostly dicked around on Rift today, doing some quests, looking around. It was the last day of bonuses, so I tried to bank on those, but I didn't get very far. I did manage to complete one of the quests in the Saga of the Endless line, so there's that. I also got thanked a lot, which was weird. Not used to being thanked in an online context.

The ambassadorship is now, and after figuring out exactly where to go to actually download those games (it's not anywhere intuitive!), I played about 45 seconds of the Legend of Zelda. That's a game that exists! I'm glad I didn't have to pay money for it!

And I heard about this Quarrel game, which is Risk meets Bananagrams, and it's...okay. The free version doesn't provide much, and I'm not sure I like how uneven the game is to the player who takes the second turn. It's vicious, and I don't think I like it enough to buy it, especially since it doesn't have multiplayer.
