League of Legends
I have started playing League of Legends! Well, not started, I'm not actually playing against people yet, just getting my feet wet with some NPCs, seeing what their deal is. This game has a lot of give and take, and I don't think I like how long the games are, especially when it's extremely bad form to give up. I've been trying to get a handle on a few characters, and there's one I keep getting paired with that has a secondary skill that does literally nothing. It deploys a scout, but that isn't helpful at all when I can pretty much figure out where everyone is at any given time. (Answer: Right in front of me or in my dang base.) But I'll keep trying, because this is hot.
One thing I half like is that there is a leveling up system and a talent tree, where you can eventually get a little better based on how long you've been playing, although each of the bonuses seem really insubstantial, like a +3.74 to health when your HP during the game can get upward of 2000. But it's something, and I'm sure once I understand how the game works, it'll make more sense.
