So, today, I completed that quest for the Mage's guild, which required me to kill a bunch of dicks. We could have just talked nicely, but no... I get the books back and give them to the librarian, who hands me six skill books! Six! After that there was some business involving some guy showing up to talk to me and basically punking all the other members of the college, and now I have to find some guy underground. Because nobody lives above ground.
I did Thieves Guild stuff instead. Snuck into their dumb sewer, went to their dumb sewer bar, did some general enforcer business (threatening families, breaking vases), and then I was told to go mess with some jerk on a farm, who hired maybe fifteen or sixteen mercenaries to prevent this kinda thing. So I killed a ton of dudes, because they were mean, and stole some stuff from the house. Also broke a lot of lockpicks in there. This one door that I never got through and never really wanted to get through (it just lead outside) practically just ate all my lockpicks.
