Mage Knight Board Game
I woke up way too early to play the Mage Knight board game, for fun. We played the full conquest, which involved taking out a few cities. One player streaked out ahead of the rest of us, taking out all the keeps and able to take one of the cities by himself. The other two couldn't keep up, and were three levels behind by the end, which ended up determining the entire thing. I managed to rack up a ridiculous number of wounds, which really hindered me, but I still enjoyed it, taking out a dungeon or two. It really cemented my opinion of the game, I like it. It has some troubles involving how well you can move and fight, but it's a problem involving the mechanic in general, and is not the game's fault. Maybe an expansion will clean up the problem, if we get one.
