Endless Space, Little Inferno
I realized there was a strategy game that I had purchased that I hadn't played at all. So I booted it up and played for hours. You are in space, and you have an empire. The space is hardly endless. But there are a lot of interesting little things here, with the way that you colonize planets, and the way combat works by playing Pokemon cards, basically, but once I met an AI character and saw the extent of his empire, I immediately realized that I was doing it wrong, and had absolutely no chance of winning. Must start over.
Also had Little Inferno re-recommended to me, a game in which you basically burn things. That's it, but it also had this weird plotline in which it's always snowing and the ever-present evil corporation wants you to light all your things on fire...
Anyway, I mainly spent my time using the "My Pictures" feature to put a picture from my library in the game and setting it aflame. Weirdly cathartic.
