EVE Online
I was mostly sleeping as much as possible this weekend, but also played EVE Online. Finally got that cruiser, as well as a couple of medium guns and some armor and I was prepared, and I was ready to kick the crap out of these storyline missions, only to jump in and still have absolutely no chance of killing this assholes. So...I quit the missions. I gave up on the dream. And I took a huge hit to my standings with the corporations, but I could not handle these jerks.
So I spent Sunday recovering, flying around my cruiser and doing combat missions so that I a) understand how the combat works better, and b) wanting to justify this 12 million ISK investment. I did have some fun! You get a lot more loot from blowing space ships than transporting tourists around. There was also this fun five-part mission involving a gang, in which the fourth part was pretending to be a member of the gang and flying a defenseless shuttle to save some civilians. It was exciting!
