EVE Online, Bioshock Infinite, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon
Oh dip new games. And...old games, but first new games. I got Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, which is fun enough and it's so great to finally see a new Luigi's Mansion. I've only done one mission, which requires me to find my vacuum and bust some ghosts, but it seems like this'll be a good time. Although, creepily, I managed to collect exactly 666 coins in the first level. SPOOOOOOKY.
Then Bioshock Infinite, which is pretty good. It starts off with some real atmosphere, a lot of unanswered questions, and it starts setting the tone that this is a very different Bioshock game. While Bioshock spent a lot of time debating Objectivism (and saying it is fucking dumb), Infinite seems to have set its sights on Fundamentalism. Now, I already know all the arguments against Fundamentalism (those guys are jerks and racists), but seeing the interesting environment of Columbia with all its Christian themes and such is a unique departure from what you are expecting. Also Columbia is cool...it's a city in the sky! The buildings randomly move around! Why do they do that? Anyway, after an adorable little fun fair, you actually get into it and start shooting things, and they finally get around showing what is wrong with this place. (Please see previous statement about Fundamentalists being jerks and racists.) And now I'm shooting stuff. But fun so far. I'll avoid talking spoilers, because come on.
Also played a bunch of EVE Online. Shut up, I like this game for some reason. I'm going to need a much bigger ship to do what I'm planning.
