What I Played Today: June 2

Guild Wars 2

Listen, I know. Just assume that I have been playing Guild Wars 2 for two weeks, because I have been playing Guild Wars 2 a ton. Just non-stop. I ran a dungeon last night, which was interesting, if...difficult to parse, since a lot of the game is predicated on your hero being self-sufficient. While that's great for solo play, it feels weird in a dungeon, as we're all doing our own thing and hoping we don't die. There were some dungeon-y bits in which we have to keep two characters apart, but otherwise...I guess we're just fighting guys together?

Although the dungeon was cool, it was full of Ascalon ghosts, include the dick king of Ascalon who destroyed the entire land instead of letting the Charr take it. There was a ghost of the original mesmer trainer from Guild Wars: Prophecies! There were MONKS! It felt so good to see all that stuff again.
