Mini Metro
I saw this cute little puzzle game on Steam that had a very cunning minimalist design, in which you connect subway stations to each other and try to keep them running as long as possible before they overcrowd, with new stations constantly being added and piling onto the madness. It's pretty good! The resources they have you juggle are clever, as each car can hold only six passengers and must travel the length of the line before turning around, and you can only construct so many passes over water. You can eventually add more cars and lines, but it's easy to make a mistake like a line that has too many of the same type of station, which leads to a huge amount of back-up, or the rare popular station popping up the wrong place. I would recommend it, it's pretty smart. I imagine it would be tedious after a bit, but, meh, seven bucks, and there are 10 city maps to choose from.
