Final Fantasy XIV
I've JUST been playing Final Fantasy XIV. It's really engrossed me. The fact that you can play as literally any class at any time is something I really like, so I keep switching to new classes and see how those play. I became a rogue for a while, and then a chef, and then a botanist, and then a lancer, and just on and on and on. I guess I'll stop once I've got everything as high as as I want; eventually I'll choose which job I want to run most of the time. Or maybe I'll spend the next year just leveling up every single class. WHO KNOWS!
I also ran through a dungeon, almost by accident! They made it so easy to start running a dungeon that I just...kinda did it, and it was happening before I knew it, and since it was the first dungeon, it was pretty easy. Just run in one general direction, kill anything in the way. There was this weird bit where we fought a pirate captain, who ran away, and then we did a big loop and fought the captain again? Also in the end there was this crazy merfolk monster, and for some reason I was told to attack the boss until it died, and I have no idea why, because what else was I going to do? Stop and make it a cheesecake at 35%? Anyway, I got a shield (which I can't use) and a pair of pants! And then the main quest told me to go to the NEXT dungeon. Oooof.
