What I Played Today: April 10

Concrete Jungle

I got bored and booted up Concrete Jungle, which is still a fun and interesting game that has a lot of odd nonsense going on. The rules are still kind of esoteric and it takes a bit of trial and error to get going, and frankly the deckbuilding mechanic ends up being a crutch more than a neat mechanic. There are just too many cards that DON'T score points, and you can get into a long string of support cards without a way to actually get the points you need.

But I unlocked two new characters and beat a level that was graded "very hard," so I feel pretty good. Now I just need to level level level to unlock all the cards. I want all the cards, all the time. GIVE ME THE CARDS.
