Final Fantasy XIII, Civilization Revolution
More of the same today. I got through Chapter 9 of FFXIII today, which was a huge whatever. I’m finally able to change ALL party members, and each party member can learn all classes, which I guess means that I have access to the whole game now, although I still haven’t found a map yet, or have any clue what’s going on worldwise. And there are still things mentioned in the rulebook that I’ve yet to actually get access to yet, which is pretty ridiculous.
The fact that I can freely change the party did manage to screw me a bit, as I went into a boss fight with a team that I wasn’t entirely comfortable with. I did alright, sure, but I did it very slowly, getting no stars on the fight. The fact that whenever you change your party, your paradigms reset, meaning it’s a pain to experiment, which is a chore. Also, although every character can now learn every class, it’s prohibitively expensive to learn from a class you aren’t good at, taking upward of 15000 experience points just to unlock it.
More Civilization as well, played on a USA-inspired map. Not much else to say about it; I won. I rock.
