What I Played Today: November 24

Pocket Frogs, (disclosed)

Frustrating day, but I got through it by playing a game suggested by an Internet guy, Pocket Frogs, in which you raise frogs, of various patterns and colors. It’s alright…it pulls the usual casual game bullshit of long wait times between getting what I want, but it also doesn’t have a lot of advantages I can’t get other ways, and the ‘collect-all-combos’ nature of the game is pretty interesting, if a bit long winded.

Also got access to a game with a pretty strict and confusing NDA, so let’s just say that I got a chance to emulate my favorite comic book character, and I got to beat up a bunch of aliens, and a pretty popular character treated me like a dick, as expected. So…the experience is alright, and the customization is great, in general, but I haven’t gotten very far…so…yeah. Let’s just leave it at that.

Oh, and I’m off for the next four days, so radio silence here. Expect more talk about games and stuff on Monday, November 29. Have a happy (rassle frassle)
