What I Played Today: November 23

Citadels, Guild Wars

Went to the game night in vain hopes that Civilization would be played, but alas, time caught up on me and the fact that the serious gamers had been there since one, and thus quite tired, so I played a game of Citadels instead. I was doing pretty well until I made a fatal mistake when I killed an expansion of the fourth place player after an unfortunate misinterpretation of the leader. If I had done anything different, I would have won. I also felt really bad because I noticed a particularity of one of the role cards, so I could tell who was playing the thief. I only used it to my advantage once…but that was once too many. People should use sleeves, I tell you.

Also played Guild Wars. The most recent quest was real annoying because it took me a full 30 minutes out of my way to kill some jerks who happened to have a key to the pretty insignificant backdoor, but after a full 45 minutes of play, I managed to kill the bossman and move on to the next quest. I still have a long way to go…
