What I Played Today: December 27

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Chaos Rings

Yeah, that’s right, I keep playing it. I just can’t help it, it is exceedingly satisfying to knife guys, especially when they are constantly threatening to knife me. Seen a lot of interesting ability usages though, I really like charge, because it’s a bit more subtle than the smoke bomb, but I can’t stun two people with it…hrm. My last round was also going really well until the 1st place player was assigned to kill me three times in a row, which is nonsense. How am I supposed to catch up with him, huh?

I also downloaded Chaos Rings for the iPhone, because it was half off. It looks exceedingly good, better than the one of the recent Nintendo DS game that I was sent to review today. (First impression: HAHAHAHA!) It does this weird thing where they name the spells weird, but otherwise it’s a pretty competent RPG, even if the plot is pretty thin. But it does a lot of things right, and it’s pretty quick, so yeah, not really worth the $13 they wanted originally, but at $6, it’s a-ok.
