What I Played Today: June 5

Tyrant, Papa’s Burgers

I have been on a veritable tear with Tyrant lately, as it is something that I’ve been turning to every few hours to play out my available points. It is slow-moving at this point, as it takes a long time to get certain cards. Between the faction wars that you can only start every six hours, the missions that take two full bars of energy to complete each, and the raids that require you to complete them more than 10 to 20 times before it unlocks the ability to buy one card, it’s definitely designed as a game that you can’t play for very long, but have to play often to stay current.

Also dicked around a bit with a game about flipping burgers, just because I had a bit of fun with the one they did about tacos. The problem with these is they get tedious long before they bothered to write an ending, so I just played until I unlocked all the achievements for it. After you get around 10 customers a day, it is just a chore to keep the orders straight in your head.
