What I Played Today: October 9

Rift

In celebration of not playing Rift yesterday, I played all the Rift today. All of it. I started by helping out my guild bro craft a robe, which went well for him. I like being helpful, especially when they tip, because that way I make money for nothing. Then I managed to tag along on the daily raid rift, and it went really well! We managed to survive somehow, even though this rogue who talks way too much and doesn't seem to know anything was dying every single fight, and at the end of it the call for rolls were up and I won a great pair of gloves! That came with 30 focus! Which I absolutely needed if I want to go into Tier 2 dungeons! So guess where I can go now!

Then I decided to screw around some more with the Chronicles because I hadn't yet, and after trying to unsuccessfully solo one of the two-mans, realized I couldn't, then found out that the other one was actually a lot easier, and managed to run that all the way through. It was difficult until I realized that one of my other ability sets was actually well-focused towards soloing tough stuff, so I switched to that and it went fine. Now, the story of the Chronicles is pretty dumb, as it involves going in, managing to not really beat a guy, and then getting unceremoniously kicked out, but it was nice to get some more Plaques of Achievement, because that means I could buy a new belt too. My gear is looking pretty good, actually. If only I could afford that damn staff.
