Sequence, Red Dragon Inn 3
I went to a Christmas party, in which there were promises of games, and then only one happened. That game was Red Dragon Inn 3, which was okay! It's a game in which you pretend to be just hanging out in a fantasy inn with your adventuring bros. Each player has their own deck of actions they can do, and you try to stave off blacking out from drinking too much. It's kinda goofy. I hadn't played this particular iteration of the game, which adds some complex mechanics to each player. I had the paladin who had a piety meter, that went down when she acted poorly and up when she acted good. She dealt more damage when her piety was low, but had better healing when her piety was high. It was interesting, but she blacked out early when everyone started spiking her drinks.
I also finally downloaded and played Sequence, which is a rhythm game with roleplaying elements. There are three different fields that you have to switch between, one representing the enemy's attacks, one representing your attacks, and one that you need to occasionally use to replenish your mana supply. It's pretty interesting, although a bit grindy, as you need to craft pretty much all your items with random drops, so you'll be repeating a few battles. Also, the cutscenes are dumb and snarky.
