The Walking Dead, Blood Bowl Team Manager
I played this Walking Dead board game, it's alright. Each player is trying to collect tiles from each corner of the board and not die. But...when they do die, they suddenly start actively playing against all the other characters. It's a nice way to account for the game being kinda brutal. Unfortunately for my opponent, I was one die roll away from winning the game when he got turned into a zombie, so he didn't really get a chance to mess with me.
Also a game of Blood Bowl, which is weird. It's a resource management thing, where you're trying to use the players in your hand to try and win a series of volleys that offer rewards based on who is more powerful there. Each region you win gives you either a new player or an upgrade you can use. It's strange because it kinda has deckbuilding elements, but not really, and there are just so many cards available, and you're going to gain, at most, maybe 15, if you play really well. I guess variety is good, but it was just odd that all these cards are out there and I can't really use them. I managed to win by going overboard on staff upgrades, which gave me a ton of points at end of game.
