What I Played Today: March 25

Summoner Wars, The Ares Project, Peggle, Magic: The Gathering

Morning gaming, played a couple of two player games. In a game of Summoner Wars, I managed to lose because while I was super aggressive, I did not expect my opponent to be able to steal all my guys and knock my summoner into a corner, trapping him. I also managed to get stupid with some placement of some of my guys and managed to create a long wall preventing backup from getting to my boss. What a dummie I am. Also in the Ares Project, and got my ass kicked in the basic game again because the game is not balanced at that level. It sucks that it is necessary to play this version to help people understand the game, because the Terrans do not stand a chance against the literally superior Khalis or whatever they call them. But it does sound like I’ve convinced someone to play the real game, so that’ll be great.

Also played Peggle, which is an experience that you probably understand and isn’t worth comment, and continue to play Magic: The Gathering PC game. I hope that the 2013 version is in the works, because I would love to play with some of the new cards that I’m seeing coming through. I am also really tempted to buy some new decks, and I really shouldn’t.
