(to be reviewed), Ancient Traders
I have the review complete for that which is to be reviewed, however, by the time I got it settled it was too late to do any voice recording, so I’ll have to wait until later. That’s the hard part of vocal recording, that it’s only doable during certain periods of the day. I mean...I guess I could record at any time, but I like to do things right, damn it.
I also played 16 turns of a game that was recommended by the Internet, Ancient Traders. It’s an indie Xbox game, which seems to be a board game that’s been converted to electronic form in order to add a secrecy component. Only problem being that 16 turns doesn’t tell you an awful lot about a game. I didn’t even know the point of the game, I was just sailing around and collecting goods. At one time I was attacked by a seahorse, who I was evenly matched with, but somehow still lost against, which sucked. I also didn’t like the visual style...it was hard to tell what was going on. Which is too bad, because it’s obvious they put a lot of work into it. I don’t know...I would have downloaded it if I didn’t have to add MS points, but at my current account balance of 20, it didn’t seem worth trying.
