What I Played Today: April 11

I know, I know. I’ve been doing more of the flashmob quests, where a whole bunch of crap in the region suddenly spawns and everyone needs to pitch in or the world gets set on fire or something. They are extremely unreasonable, but they are the only way to get the special currency that allows you to buy some of the best gear that doesn’t require going into dungeons, and its not particularly hard, just tiring. Once you shut down a number of rifts and kill the raiders, a very large boss creature will appear on the map, and they are stupid hard, with hit points in the 100,000s. They also hit hard and have a lot of AoE damage; one time I was fighting one, ran back to my corpse, respawned and then died within seconds. It’s really tough to know what to do in these fights, because it’s just straight lunacy for a good ten minutes. But I got my special chip, so maybe I can buy some nice new pants.
