Small World, Sentinels of the Multiverse
Went to Dreamers again, it was dreamtastic? Anyway, played a three player game of Small World Underworld. I started with the Pixies, who have a lot of figures, but can only keep one of them on the board after their turn, so they are easy to take over. Then some spiderings, then mudmen? I don't know, I got second place, good for me.
Then a game of Sentinels of the Multiverse, and why I love a lot about it, I think there needs to be a fix to make the first couple of rounds not awful to play through. We played against the Plague Rat, which was going okay, until that goddamn chemical vat really screwed things up. It managed to shut down Absolute Zero entirely, and we just took much damage trying to keep things under control. We spent a lot of time trying to min/max Absolute Zero, and it's kinda wasted. I don't know, I just think that the heroes should all start with three cards and a non-limited equipment or ongoing card in play. Something to slow down the onslaught a bit, the enemies start so strong and the heroes start so weak.
