What I Played Today: March 18
Transistor, Hearthstone
Played through the next major bit of Transistor. I've been prioritizing unlocking all the secret files, so I have to keep changing up my styles. All the abilities just have so many interesting interactions, and probably the only ability I hate is Help(), because it's so expensive memory-wise, it's useless as a solo active, and it's upgrade power is borderline completely useless. Like, MAYBE it might be worth it against Young Ladies or if you are going heavy on limiters. Which is too bad, because the dog is cute! Now I've had what counts as a confrontation with the leader of the bad guys (I guess), and there's only one guy left. I'm kind of excited to NewGame+ this.
Also finally won a few games of Hearthstone. That game is okay.

What I Played Today: March 7
Transistor
I restarted Transistor, because I had gotten it for free on my PS4, and I wanted to show my sister something pretty because she was in a crappy mood. So I played through the first boss and up to the second one, and the game is clicking with a lot more than it did before (Oh by the way, I played Transistor before, during the dry times). The gameplay has a good flow to it, the way you combine powers to get better effects and how each power has a unique feel and use is great. For some reason I really like load(), which adds an explodable grenade to the field. I just which I had more memory; I've got to get more eventually, right? There are 16 unlockable slots in my loadout, and I want to use them all.
Also the story makes a lot more sense this time; at least as much sense as this world does, which is not a lot! But I know who most of the characters are, how they relate to each other, and I'm pretty sure everyone is part robot? It's the only way this magic disappearing city makes a bit of sense. It's probably all happening in a computer that is being defragged, like goddamn Reboot.
