What I Played Today: November 17

Um...

I didn't end up playing anything today! I'm sorry.

What I Played Today: October 26

Um

Nothing today! I pretty much slept, got hit by some kind of wacky headache thing and it took me out, so...nope! I did have some wacky dreams, and felt a couple of earthquakes (a couple!), but no gaming. So, deal with it?

What I Played Today: June 30

Um...

I am superlazy. I did download Puzzle Agent 2, because it came out today and I'm super-excited, but I didn't actually manage to get around to playing it.

What I Played Today: June 3

Um…

I could not tell you! There’s something about Fridays that just make it difficult for me to sit down and enjoy a video game. Maybe some common lethargy, maybe some social malice, maybe the need to do something different that ends up being the same. Or maybe I’m just a lazy jerk. ANYWAY!

What I Played Today: May 15

Um…

I think I spent the entire day watching movies and reading comic books. I continue to be frustrated by Batman Incorporated, despite being told that it is the smartest and best book out right now. I mean, we get introduced to a crime syndicate named Joe Average and the Average Joes, in which all of them dress like a lamer version of the Village People, and we are supposed to take them seriously. And I still have no idea what Oroboros is and why we’ve suddenly switched sights onto Leviathan, and it just pissed me off how Batman says how “everything makes so much sense it hurts,” because guess what Grant Morrison, we are not as smart as Batman. You need to explain this shit to us.

Journey to Mystery is really good though. They are really nailing the epic feel of the gods and keeping everything engaging and mythical. And Volstagg continues to entertain pretty much every panel.

Wait a minute, what I am talking about?

What I Played Today: April 29

Um…

I seriously do not remember if I played anything. I think I just vegged out and watched some Rifftrax and ate some pizza. Which is alright every once in a while, I guess…

What I Played Today: January 20

NOTHING!

I went to a show tonight, and the show was late, and I spent too much time wandering around the city, and nothing got played. I’m sorry.

What I Played Today: April 16

Um...

Seriously, no games today either? Man, what the hell, guy? Well, I've got a game day tomorrow, so I'll have something to write about then, I guess. Sorry.

What I Played Today: April 15

Um...

I don't think I played anything today, actually. Well, I played my daily games, but I play those every day, I guess I could tell you what they are.

Words with Friends is a Scrabble game that you can play with others on your iPhone. I play maybe two or three games a month, mostly against a small group of folk. It's Scrabble, not much to say besides a few minor victories, a bingo on the first turn here, LIQUOR on the edge to score a whopping 110 points. But otherwise, I spend maybe two minutes a day thinking about it, max.

Kingdom of Loathing is a satirical browser-based game that I've been played for years, and frankly lost full interest with long ago. I log in every once in a while because it's a waste not to, but mostly I just grind for meat (the game's currency) and tokens, every so often buying the exclusive monthly item because there's only a set window to get it.

Billy Vs Snakeman is another satirical browser-based game that I started playing last summer, and I actually like it quite a bit. It's less focused on beating up monsters and instead performing a whole bunch of "checks", which is a great mechanic. There's also a whole bunch of collections, and everything is the game is interconnected. In order to advance in this area, you need to have gotten a certain distance in this area, and etc. I'm just on the cusp of the high-end content, and I enjoy playing it every day, even though I've been farming for the past month or so.

So yeah, those are my daily games. NOW YOU KNOW!

What I Played Today: March 15

Um

I don't have much to say today. Played some games, but only for about a half hour. I guess that's more than most people, but hey, it's nothing for me, so I've got very little to say. Have a good night
