Robot Wants Puppy
I played a few things, but nothing too exciting or too long, except for Robot Wants Puppy! The sequel to the flash game Robot Wants Kitty, it involves a robot wandering around a platformer trying to get to the puppy. It’s an interesting sequel, ripping away all abilities of the robot and instead allowing you to upgrade the Kitty from the first game.
The cat becomes your primary mode of attack, being tossed to scratch the hell out of your enemy. Only problem being that it takes a few seconds to kill the enemy, while the enemy is running around the level, half the time directly at you. It can also be upgraded to glide, fly, and cling to the ceiling. It requires a fair amount of precision to figure out what to do, as well as plan properly when to launch your feline attacker. It’s not a bad little flash game, not taking more than half-an-hour, and adding just the right number of twists to the “upgrade-as-you-go” game the designer has made here.
