What I Played Today: August 15

Persona 3

I was on the train for two hours today, going down to the Peninsula to see a movie, and spent all my time on it playing Persona 3. I was initially frustrated because the entire ride down I was stuck in the dungeon leveling all my character one level. ONE LEVEL. But the game picked up after that, as I marched forward to the big twist.

The boss fights were easy, and then the big twist came, and I found myself intent on it, even though I knew what was going to happen. The only problem is, I didn’t! They changed the circumstances of the twist! Sure, the result was the same, but they changed it so that the instigator of the twist was different, which is a change that I don’t understand at all. It was fine the first time, and a lot more ironic. But I guess it is what it is, just a bit odd.

Still, solid story element, even if it elicits a sense of absurd anger. Also, impossible to talk about without spoiling anything, so, there we go.
