Fez, Guild Wars
Just really hunkered down into Fez. Kept on knocking out those cubes, going into each area, taking a big look around, and when I get even mildly confused by a puzzle, move on to the next zone. It was pretty methodical, and I boosted up to the level where I'll be able to get through the next giant door. So I walk in and I guess I beat Fez? I don't know, the standard ending is the standard definition of a huge trip. I was not sure that I was not slipped some acid five minutes beforehand, but, if you are watching someone get to the ending of Fez, I suggest blazing up. Might be fun. Then on to the new game plus to get the rest of it, to really dig in and solve the puzzles.
Two things, I knew there was no way in hell that there wasn't a QR code puzzle in the game, based entirely on how it looks, and I was right. Feel sorry for anyone without a smart phone. Also, once you jump into new game +, you'll be shown a moment that will resemble a popular Internet meme, and it will force you to tell the obvious joke on Twitter. I'm not happy about it.
I also just got straight up cornfused by Guild Wars today. I don't know what my problem was, I was downloading some codes for my heroes, but I just...couldn't handle it. I have no idea how I'm going to beat this damn level and get on with the Beyond material.
